In the Phils, you can tell whether it is a hit or a robbery by the way the victim died.
The most common modus operandi of a hit job here is the 2 men on a motorcycle method. They will ride close to the victim and the pillion pumps several rounds into the victim. They usually use small motorcycles as speed and power is not needed here but the ability to maneuvere and blend into the traffic while getting away.
In a robbery, the victim usually is shot in the back of the head with a single round. The robber will always approach the victim from the back and fire point blank into the head. They will only strike in an area where there is little chance for them to be seen or recognised. So always avoid dark deserted areas.
If you are confronted by a gunman face to face, you are lucky coz he just wants money and not your life...... dun fight back or attempt to be a hero, give him what he wants and live to tell the tale
