Now my wife is three months pregreant , so all the doctors consultations, medicines, and giving birth next year here in singapore is costing me a bomb.
She cannot receive subsided rate ( pay foreigner rates), quite siong $$ for me..
how shall i expendidte her PR status from here now? Is there any alternative ways to plead with ICA?
Hope can hear constructive suggestions from you all soon

Hi, FYI. Nowadays even Singaporean dont go subsided rate (government) for giving birth as the cost is almost the same as private gynae.
Appointment to gynae is around $30+ to $180 ba depending on what the doctor gonna do cos certain months appointment, your partner will need blood test, scan, blah blah blah.... certain months just go take weight and see growth progress then the bill will be low like $30+.
U can use your medisave to pay for the delivering part for your partner since you guys already married.
I pay a deposit of $2000 or $3000, when my wife is warded for delivery on the day itself but end up they refunded me back. Cash used to pay is only $890. The rest of money is deducted from my medisave amounting to $2100.
The hospital I go is East Shore and its a private hospital. Its not going to be a very scarry amount coming to delivering at private hospital unless your wife is not able to have a natural birth.
The cost of caesaren is scarry! My fren's wife who is a viet, paid close to $10,000 cash for the operation as the husband has no medisave balance.
