Chikka Text Messenger lets you send free text messages to mobile subscribers in the Philippines from wherever you are in the world. Your friends can also reply to your Chikka messages instantly, either from their mobile phones or downloadable messenger clients.
Normal charge to reply to a chikka from the Philippines cost 2.5p but drops to 1p after midnight. They have packages that saves you money. 2.5p may be small money for us but to a filipina earning about 130p/day is like costing you 2% of your daily salary to send an sms. Ouch.
Sending of sms with chikka without any reply is limited to 6 sms/ 160 characters a day after which they block you. I get round this blockage by registering many accounts limited by the number of emails you have.
I no God of Fortune. Just a poor man forced to find and use the cheapest means to get by in life. At times, I get told off by my richer friends as to why I need to be so calculative.

I understand that their earnings is very less n a few pesos meant alot to them.
That is why I left a yahoo mail for Mary , told my girls the 2.5p costs of the reply n ask them not to reply unless necessary.
I should hv pasaloaded them more before I leave AC.
I saw my account got 22 free message for smart, so I presume it's not free after I use up the 22.
U r still God of Fortune to me in a different way. The info u provide selflessly saves us money n u do it voluntarily to almost everyone (especially the girls... hehe)when u know they are ignorant of the means , n i m there when u did these generous actions.
I m also poor man like u, spend only on necessity, no branded staff n look for cheap deals. I even walk to save 8p jeepney.
We lead ur own life, so just don't bother about ur rich friends.
