Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
The Lord: the battery rule applies to liquid battery, like the car lead / acid battery. But in Pina Land, they can twist it anyway they want ..
not in Pinas, but in another country .. when the idiots tried the same, in exchange for a 'fee' I smiled, walked out to the rubbish dump near the customs, and one by one threw them away and smiled "So, problem solved right ?? "
datou Actually, at my former work place, we have air-freighted large quantities of of rechargeable batteries .. of course, we needed to declare them as such, and the Load master had to ensure proper care and isolation + fire suppression was in place ..
Off-topic, There was one B747, of UPS, which crashed in Dubai recently, of course, not many knew because it was cargo plane, though both the crew died trying to land in Sharjah .. and so far the investigation is pointing to combustion of rechargeable batteries .. The load master had attempted suicide when he found out that he screwed up big time ....
The ICAO rule for shipping battery applies for 'when shipping in bulk' .. to ensure the fire safety standards are met, as Li-Ion batteries are known to heat up if not in environmentally controlled conditions and in close space .. not for spare / loose carriage ..
Uncle Ziebart: I think The Lord need to learn the "SOAP DROP" technique also .. LOL
99heyho: If you are referring to 'bringing a friend home to the hotel' it is not considered double occupancy .. or the hotel may ask for a small fee .. though never happened for me in AC .. and in Manila too (including the time I had 4 girl in my room in Rivera Mansion .. )
