Unlike Bkk, bar fine is only buying "freedom" -fj is outside, negotiable. In Patts (Pattaya), some popular bars even charge bar fine + fj upfront (paybale to bar) kns.
It's also important to understand AC is not LOS. Difference in standard, cost of living (and infrastructure) and setup is teling. Cannot compare mangoes with durians. AC's popular as it's value for money, and chabors speak your lingo (english).
