My take on this matter is that you don have to wait for promo price for your travel dates.
Cebu Pac and Tiger have black out dates that they know are super high demand. No need to discount price. Sure full load.
Blackout Dates:
January 1-5
March 13, 20, 25, 27
Holy Week (5 days before and 5 days after)
April 27-May 3
October 25-31
November 1-4, 23, 26-28
December 20-26, 31
My advise is either you change your dates which I don think you will do OR book regular airline tickets which are much cheaper with better options.
(As you can see from bro datou dates, his dates don include the Xmas n New Year period). Same for me. No dates yet.
Air Asia does not practice black out for that period and you may consider flying from KL. I did that twice already.
