I always used this website to check prices and schedule.
Then I will go to taobao 淘宝 to book the ticket.....as they are usually the cheapest.

But if you do not have an account it is going very difficult to use them.
You will have to go to a ticketing agent. Plenty in China.
Any decent hotel.....would have at least one air ticket agent.
Use the price at ctrip as reference.......
