I think the best way is to take a bus. There is direct bus from Zhuhai Gongbei Underground Shopping to CP. There is some info posted on page 818 that you can refer to.
Alternatively take bus from ZH to GZ East station and from GZ Station, take the train to Dongguan. Too much hassle..
