As for "nan", I think "laziness" is also a type of thinking issue ma. But if you like, you can translate it as "reluctant" . It is probably more precise. I translated it as "lazy" simply because it sound like 懶 in Chinese

nan = segan (Bahasa) = dont feel like doing (inertia) because of laziness or shyness
