I think you may be referring to the recent case of the American retiree. This guy was staying at the Lewis Grand hotel and decided to walk to Fields ave one evening instead of taking the hotel shuttle.... along the road he passed a bunch of kids by the side of the road who crowded round him as he entered into their midst.... he forced his way out from the group and carried on walking. When he was near the ABC hotel vicinity he realised his wallet was missing from his trouser pocket. He was sure the kids had picked his pocket so he turned back along that road. He saw the same group of kids and went into them again but this time he grabbed one of the bigger boys and demanded his wallet back. The streetsmart kids called the cops....LOL.
After hearing the American and the kids stories..... the American was arrested when the cops could not find any wallet on the kids. His charge? Using criminal force on a minor.
