Recently, my gal asked me if I would like to send money to her parents because its mid-autumn festival. She told me its a nice gesture to let her parents know that its from her "boyfriend". I asked her why as we dont practise these customs in Singapore. Moreover, I don't even know her parents, why should I do it? She said why am I 没亲情》 Two thoughts rab thru' my mind, first, is she out to get more money or she is getting sticky.
Whatever the reason, I do not want to spoilt the mood as I'll be seeing her in 3 weeks time. Gave high a few hundred dollars (RMB) and told her its from her to her parents. Ｎｏｔ ｆｒｏｍ ｍｅ！
