I'm using china unicom (联通网卡). 9rmb per 300mb. Can text and call also but I did not utilise, using it for my ipad. I find china unicom has better signal for data in cp while china mobile （移动） has better signal for calling. Never try before china telecom (电信）
As for the nano card cutting, normally the shop can do it free if you purchase the sim card from them (that is if they have the cutter).
Nowadays they also supply nano sim card already but you have to go to the main branch to purchase it.
