Yong Dong on the other hand is horrible. I waited at the Shenzhen Plaza for the exchange of vehicles for about 1 hour, and it took me 4 hours to reach CA from HKIA, even though CA is much nearer to HKIA than CP.
I think you should just cater your own vehicle for your own comfortable ride instead.   |
Took HT recently and it took about 2hrs 15mins to reach HH (CP). Slow in clearing HK side custom about 20mins and only 8 mins to clear China custom.
Pitstop at Shenzhen bay after the custom for drop off 2 persons and another place in "putian" carpark to drop off another 3 persons but don't need to change vehicle. The vehicle speed at some part of the highway (HK & China) was 130 to 150 km/hr.
Got a chance to ask the driver about the drop off and he mentioned if all passengers from HKIA are going to CP than no pitstop.
As a smoker, I prefer pitstop to take a quick puff and also more sitting space.
As for Yong Dong, there is a need to change vehicle.
