Sorry to hear that u have a bad experience in gogo bars.the girls are stereo typing+profiling every type of customer when they walk thru the door till we are sitted down,they had already form an impression of us in thier own minds.
Indians from India are the most frown upon type in agogo bar.I have personally witness they entering the gogo like a bunch of animals in mass & grope/touch stare at the girl while talking loudly(literally shouting) among thier one groups like other patrons doesn't exist.
I have seen 4 guys sharing a bottle of mineral water reason given becos they are Muslim & park their ass in there for the next hour staring at the poor girls on stage only to be chase out later as the management inform them if they are not buying drinks they would have to leave & the Indians react back in rude manner ways complaining they are buying(one mineral water among four friends asking for for glass with ice)
When I walk on the beach road in pattaya I had seen group of 4 Indians asking a freelancer to go with them for 500baht.even the FL shoo them away they just keep hanging around her & follow her as she walk.
Many times When I was with my companion of the night walking group of 3-5 will always stare till their eyes doesn't even need to blink,they even stare at me from head to toe like I'm some sort of superstar or animal i dunno as if like they haven seen in whole life.
2indians bargaining with baht bus driver over 10baht fare.correct care even for local is 10baht per pax buy they wanted to pay 10baht for 2 pax.
Indian couple goes to street stall buying hello kitty clock.price stated was 199baht.they ask for discount.vendor say 190baht.the husband talk loudly 'I give u 200,but I want 2 piece' vendor shoo them away.they continue repeating the same sentence over & over.
The above mention is not racist remark but just to help u understand why girls are reacting to u in negative ways.imagine how many type of real Indian customer they had witness for thier misbehavior.they do not know u are Singaporean Indian western educated they just stereo type.
Even our Chinese brothers here get stereo type by the girls or door man as we look like Thai & I get shit from them sometime.
Dress well,smell fresh,walk with confident & keep your smile up.drop heavy hint that u are not Indian from india.talk to the waitress or mamasan,buy a drink for them.I have some ang mo Indian friends facing the same problem but after they know u are not that category & willing to spend on LD.it's your turn to kick the bees away.
I know it sounds crazy why do we have to please the girl 1st when we are the pay master?that's the way the sex scene in Thailand are racist.
