Economics a la PRC!!
The whole town is empty, hotel rates cut to attract whatever clients there is in CP still - and yet the restaurants are jacking up prices by putting all sort of CNY surcharges and whatever!! Worst is the Yi Hao which have raised Dim sum prices by at least 70%, and then added tea AND 10% charges - which was free prior!!
Then the BBS's bumped up the prices to 300 i/o 250 prior (and 200 just a year or so ago) - and am wondering if this new pricing is gonna stick even AFTER the CNY - like it did last year from 200 to 250!!
Was at Amazon and as predicted, the selection was paltry - less than 70 gals - but even with just this few girls, there were still a few available at 9 PM when I had a look outside. Yikes - CP is really empty of mongers!!
OTH, I just got done with my girl and she was EXTREMELY pleasant and gave excellent service.....including an expertly administered and long lasting BBBJ (actually had to make her stop as I was about to blow it right there and then!!). And a nice person to boot who stuck around and chit chatted with me for quite a while even after I told her that I was not going to keep her overnight. Nice!!
So, even when things are as slow as it is in CP right now, there ARE still pleasantries around!!
