Just concluded 3D2N trip to AC 15-17/3.

Updates from the trip:

1. Construction of a new sidewalk along Fields Avenue Walking Street is underway, working their way down Fields from the McDonald's (MacArthur Highway) end.

I thought this construction has been going on since last year? Still not completed?

2. If not pressed for time, cheapest way to get to NAIA from Fields Avenue in AC is: Trike to DAU PHP 100. Victory Liner (A/C, free wifi) to Pasay Terminal PHP 150. Taxi from Bus Terminal to NAIA T3 just under PHP 100 on the meter. Total = PHP 450, 2 hours. If travelling on weekdays, there will be traffic on EDSA, so allow 3 hours travelling time to be safe.

if I am on budget I would ride the jeepney from fields to Dau (8p) and from Manila bus terminal to NAIA (12p) . This will save me another 180p... so my total travelling expenses will only be 170p.

3. Noticed a trend in the last 2 trips of girls in Fields Avenue bars to be more and more commercialized, going so far as 'rejecting' customers that want to barfine them or that request for them to come down to sit with the customer.

Many dun want to be with you if you look like a pinoy, or has that undercover informer personality. They also know the IJM makes use of foreigners to keep tabs on the bars and BGs.

Time to look for another playground. Cebu is a good alternative.
