There are no jeepneys or trikes in BKK.
Are you staying put in Nana vicinity or intending to explore BKK.... you can get the day pass for the MTR with unlimited travel if you intend to do a lot of travelling.
Anyway BKK / Patts is way way safer than AC as long as you stay away from the baklas.
