Could anyone kindly advise the differences/advantages of Batam and JTKA for solo cheong trip?

I am no longer based in Singapore, and never been to Batam, but hear it is a budget fantasyland. JKTA was fun, but got a bit boring after a few days, and traffic crazy as hell. Prices were OK.

I would appreciate any info. I tried to read through this thread, but there was no comparison between these cities for me to decide. It seems like Batam have more KTV/GFE types, whereas JKTA has the Spa/Sauna scene and more business like types.
