I know of WLs who had to go to the airport themselves by cab. I don't think the 3 days thingy is mandatory; a few ex-WLs I know returned only a week or so after they potong their card. Two of them could not secure flight tickets as booking was full. The others wanted to tie up loose ends, probably to sell off all the mobile phones and laptops which were gifts accumulated from adoring cheongsters during their KC campaign
