40% increase in the price of a drink. That sounds bad. It will get more expensive than Thailand if that is so... If what Mayor is saying is right, then that sounds very bad.

40 bars I can live with, and some higher trike fees, You pretty much only have 40ish bars anyway. And lots of bars can even be merged from 2 into 1. Just off the top of my head: Carousel/Genesis, Devilwitch/neighbour bar. And you can knock down several walls between some of the other bars and merge 2 or even 3 into 1.

But the hotel and drink charges are the main expenses on my budgetet trips...
