Was just sitting around with one of my mommy friends and we discussed how much KTV gals make.

Basically, the costs directly associated with being a KTV girl are as follows (approximately and generally)

- Either temporary work pass at 50/day or they need to pay a one time "entrance fee" which includes uniform etc: 900 - 1,200 depending on which KTV.
- When a girl is a permanent staff, then they pay 200 - 300 monthly administrative/other fee and are subject to further fines of 200 - 300 if they do not book a KTV room during the month.
- Their own rent/utilities etc: 400 - 1,500/month
- Their own Civilian clothes: approx 1,000 - 2,000/month (You still gotta look good when you go out with your client!!)
- Telephone re-charges - 100 - 200/month (and of course the all important handset!! These gals LOVE their fancy phones....and are always on the look-out for suckers who'd give them as a present - Don't YOU be that sucker!! LOL
- Daily expenses: 15 Hair blow, 15 Make-up, 30-40 for taxi or bicycle back and forth to the KTV, 30-50 daily food.

Then there is the Mommy deductions from their fee:
for 3-6-10 girls - 60-70 if just sitting and 160-170 if taken out
for 4-8-12: 90 for sitting and 190 taken out
for 5-10-15: 100 sitting, 200 taken out.
