Just got back from vietnam, and thought that mayb i could share my experiences over here.
First time going there and thought that i would be travelling alone, but luckily, met up wif another fellow sbf bro 'X' over at the airport, coincidentally our hotels are near each other as well.
Day 1: We wandered around and explore, while waiting for my girl, whom i knew in singapore, to come. Not much activity, since i'm not really into commercial sex. At night, i headed to quite an atas club at le thanh ton, the ladies looked great there, and seemed easy to xian. But couldnt since my girl was there wif me.
Day 2: Bro X met his girl and went to an amusement park, which he complained is fucked up haha. I went exploring d3, 5 ,10 as my girl had a scooter, so y not. while fellow sbf bro met his girl and went to an amusement park, which he complained is fucked up haha. actually its quite like d1, jux that its not as flooded with tourists. And to bros new to viet who are looking for those cafe, massages or whatnot, i did notice that there are in these districts, jux needa put a lil more effort in searching for dem. Night activity was taking a 'cruise' ride on the 168 restaurant, after which headed bak to hotel.
Day 3: Went for breakfast wif bro X at banh mi bistro, located at 76 vo thi sau, and the food over there its actually not bad, after which went exploring on foot as usual. Evening time we headed to try the tram chim restaurant, to me, the ladies there are not bad, but the food was overpriced for its average quality. Communication it would be best if you could speak viet. Went club Lush at night, and the crowd was abit internationalised, so felt abit sian, and decided to head down to the club over at le thanh ton, but was denied entry since the tables are all taken. Oh well. Recce here and there, and met a random guy on the streets who took us to a cafe, despite we had read warnings online abt these, we jux went ahead to explore, y not we thought. Cafe was jux beside 02 gold club, and bro X took a girl, none for me since i'm not really into commercialised stuff, i'd prefer xian-ing. Rate was USD50 for 1h, USD100 overnight. Dunno if this is the market rate.
Day 4: Had breakfast and my girl sent me off to the airport wif the scooter. Sad to have to leave HCMC.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip wif me, communication; at least my lousy viet were understandable, and I had my girl with me, so not much problem. To bros who are newbie like me, dont focus too much on finding cafe, massage or ktvs, keep an open mind and enjoy the culture and experience the city has to offer, its more than what you would expect, you'd certainly have lots of fun. Think imma start planning for the nex trip.
Oh ya, the hotel i stayed in was Tuan Phuong Hotel, if u searched it on agoda. Rates around 30SGD/night when i booked it. I think its certainly worth it, considering the service, great cleanliness and location. Its girl friendly as well, no problems at all. Theres a hair salon beside it, nothing to do can go try the ladies there haha.. A point to take note, though its called Tuan Phuong Hotel on agoda, its actual name is The White3. 55 Thu Khoa Huan st.
