Btw, the totally uninspiring responses enjoined so far would have reduced a lesser man to utter frustration. They either don't take time out to read, or are not sophisticated enough to grasp the message you were trying to impart.
I mean, no where did you mention anything about 'rights' and yet this was raised. Your exhortation to limit oneself to pick one mm per sitting for the overall good, was countered with an irrelevant everyone has a right to their partying style. Which of course was not even within the ambit of this discourse. Never mind.
Keep persisting for the common good, old chap

Thanks Oolouis for your usual well written and sensible postings. And for others - well, nobody's stopping you from ignoring ANY posts! Truly Amazing the responses I get! "Totally uninspiring responses ...." Nicely put Oolouis!!! Lol
And yes I do agree - and did point out - that the biggest factor in the Chang Ping scene are the local PRC mongers themselves these days.
Be that as it is, i believe that we foreign mongers should nonetheless equip ourselves with as much knowledge and safeguards as possible. Perhaps I did not previously enunciate my words and phrases well enough, but my main purpose in bringing forth this discussion is to elicit more information AND others' well thought out opinions and information. Certainly not to offend anybody or bring controversies to the thread. But I guess there will always be some who feels their supposed status on the board challenged - no matter what topic and however it is presented. Sigh....!!
We foreign mongers are set apart from the rest in Chang Ping and as such, I always favor more of us to be better informed, to better understand what really is in the minds of the locals - especially the syt's we all love - and thus better arm and prepare us amateurs when dealing with these full time pros. Is this so objectionable to some here? Really??
Anyway, I am definitely not here to cause ANY strife or controversies, and as such I respectfully - but again fervently - request that you would try to understand (and hopefully agree and sympathize with) my intentions before you get your gander up. Please!!
Here's to more exchange of information, opinion and more importantly, your own tips on how to "survive Chang Ping!"
Thanks y'all!!
