Maybe i can share something.
I agree with bro Ddamn that you shouldn't waste money on engaging driver. I personally just take hotel at harbourbay area. Just a few minutes walk to and from ferry terminal. There also got seafood restaurant if you want. I take taxi only to get girl and same taxi back to hotel.
Taking taxi also must set price first before boarding. If not, near or far...night or day they will quote RP50K...Trick is not to sound too "newbie".. if not driver will makan you.
If you want then maybe can book the driver for the whole day.( in case you want to go disco or elsewhere with girl).. but agree on a price you feel comfortable first.
One thing i learn is that not all high priced girls are good. Some are priced high because they are young...but service sucks. They more interested in their HP... i normally get the more not so SYT type normally the RP500K range.
I never had anyone telling me how to "survive" in Batam. So many things i learn myself. Now consider ok ok already but still many place for me to explore and do.
Maybe one day can hook up with senior samster here and go for Batam trip together.....
