If we ask any woman what she's looking for in a man, she'll come out with a long list of ennobling qualities: a sense of humor; a guy who's nice to her and treats her well; good values; a strong moral character, interesting and intelligent, but monetary terms will never be in the picture.. Does that means she will go for the poor guys if he have the above qualities? ... NO...

Many women lie.. They are experts at self-deceit because if they ever admitted to themselves what they really want from men, then they'd be forced to acknowledge that they don't really want a "nice" guy.. They are equally contradicting as they always lament about the lack of "Nice" men arounds..

I always watch what a woman does, rather than what she says.. And what does she actually do? When it comes to choosing men, she heads straight for the cash.. What women want most from men -- and therefore the criterion most significant to them in selecting a mate -- is money or the assurance of thereof in the future.. That’s probably why guys with a bigger house have an edge over the poor live-with-parents-kid.. And guys driving Lexus have an edge over SMRT riders...

You'll never catch a woman saying what she wants is a tall handsome man who drives a continental car, with lots of money and lives in a condo.. They got to have thick skin aka leather to do that (and we all know how lovingly soft the skins of sweet asian things are.)

Some women are blatant about their mercenary choices, openly choosing men with substantial material assets that they can exploit.. But most are subconscious hypocrites, screening out less successful men without admitting it to themselves.. They publicly announce that all they want is a nice guy, but privately disregard any men who don't meet their elevated standards for money, success, and status..

Let's be honest -- if women really chose men based on what they say they're looking for, then every nice, average guy out there would be besieged with females trying to go out with him.. But, nice, average looking guys generally stay at home on the weekends with a date from the PC/TV..

Tks to all kakis for contributing their 真言. Woman in S'pore are becoming more and more demanding. 1st, we saw those high maintenance type. Now, we see the romantic type.. How to survive in S'pore ? I think SDU can closed down liao. Worse, we S'pore man can get ready to migrate to other countries.. What to do, woman are mature faster then man and they are changing everyday.

Women feel that the men are useless: not romantic, not understanding enough, not successful enough etc. If the guy is too understanding and sensitive, then he becomes a wimp and is not manly enough. If the guy is very successful in his career, likelihood is that he's not romantic and vice versa.

Sories sistas, I do not mean to generalise.

Personally I'm a proponent for romance, cos I feel it's fun if I can do something crazy that will create memories for me and my gal to look back on years from now. Of course, she doesn't expect to be surprised every other day..

Only thing I was rambling about is what I feel is an overblown expectation of romance from some women, whom may not be so romantic themselves.

In other words, local women think they are too good for us, they deserve better than us, and we are not as sophisticated as our Ang Moh counterparts. I guess it's more glam to be seen hanging on the arm of an Ang Moh than the rest of us...

So no more local girls. WLs may work for money, but at least they are honest about it... with a local girl I am never sure what I am getting.

Ottawa where a woman may go to choose a
husband from among many men. The store is
comprised of 6 floors, and the men increase in
positive attributes as the shopper ascends the
flights.

There is, however, a catch. As you open the door

but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down
except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a
husband. On the first floor the sign on the door

Some men make it a point to always DISPLEASE the women they are with, be they gerfrd or just ordinary friends, bcos they basically distrust these women or view them as selfish/unpleasant ppl ... to them, being masculine is NOT giving in to 'women's wiles'... needless to say, these r the more successful type of guys with qualification/job/mind of his own ... feminist women may label these men as 'individualistic' ... cos she can't get him to do her bidding ...

Local men have been deceived. They've been told that women want to be treated as equals. So when men finally started treating them as equals, women suddenly turn around & say they want to be put on pedestrals and treated like princesses. Where's the definition of "equal"?
