Wife alleges he spent more than $300,000 on prostitutes ever since they got married 36 years ago.

SINGAPORE - A 56-year-old woman has accused her husband of visiting prostitutes a total over 3,000 times over the 36 years of their marriage.

She also claimed that he spent more than $300,000 on them.

Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily News reported Mrs Huang as saying that her 59-year-old husband started the visits after they had a son and a daughter together.

The couple had countless arguments and Mrs Huang threatened to commit suicide.

Despite promises to change, he did not stop the visits.

According to the Chinese daily, she discovered a Chinese woman calling his phone while they were out shopping for groceries.

Mrs Huang said that her husband usually visited prostitutes while delivering goods at night. He also allegedly brought her brother to Geylang.

Asked why she has not divorced him, Mrs Huang said that to do so would be to admit that she has wasted 40 years of her youth on him, which she is not willing to do.

Mr Huang told reporters that he regrets his actions, and now entrusts his full salary to his wife.

He also admitted that he visited prostitutes for more than 30 years, up till 2007.

But he says he is a changed person now. His wife still calls him up to check on his whereabouts, but he has asked her to not let the past haunt her and 'let bygones be bygones.'

The figure is probably inflated. if he visits prostitute on average 2 times a week, and include in household expenses, is a big chunk with 2 children. More probably once a fortnight.

Yes, the number seems exaggerated. Sometimes, the more often a letter or digit are used in everyday life, the more luminous it would appear to the person subconscious and he or she would associate with that word or digit and using it with more frequently. It is very much like us forming a habit of using certain word in our every sentence. In above case, it could be the number "3"

I sincerely hope the elderly couple would be harmonious from now and her husband really need to make up for lost sexxion during the "missing" years.
