A friend of mine told me he had met his niece, and pretended not knowing the gal, and paid her taxi fare and called off the deal. If i was in his shoes, perhaps i would do the same.

Why doesn't he consider helping the niece's financial problems and get her out of FL? He doesn't bed her doesn't mean she will stop selling body.

I consider this move the best. Avoid embarrassment. If want to help the relative, can do it later subtly, to save her face.

If door opened already and both shocked to see each other, I will say that I knew about her activity and is here to find out the truth. Then invite her in to listen to her story. If circumstances allow and both are game, bonk and go. if not, say goodbye. What happen next is another story.
