There are a few Singaporeans and Malaysians hanging around TAM and above, and of course across the road (LP). It's very obvious to them that they are of the minority and rare, ceteris paribus, the demand for them is naturally high. Statistically, they can raise their benchmark to the higher percentile to capture more returns given the same amount of efforts. Thus, we, as the other end of the food chain, will naturally be opted out of their equation as their benchmark goes higher.

This is seen only after the Malaysian era which dominates the 90s before the PRC floodgate was opened. I still can vividly remember at Apollo when a PRC ger is deemed to be such a rarity that getting her to your room probably will cost you an arm.

Was at TAM first time over a year. Wow, really gone downhill. We had about 30 paraded before us at 930. Ultimately chose 2 just so we can have some company but then decided let them go, no booking, and just go somewhere else. In old days I remember having problem of not knowing whom to chose! I know one of my fav TAM girls has not returned from China, so maybe chio ones hearing of the downturn here and not coming. Place was also according to girls only half full lately, so I guess it's reinforcing, weaker stock, customers don't come. very disappointed, hope things pick up again b/c TAM used to be very reliable for chio stock, tho expensive of course so need company account if possible

=> So what i heard that Lido Palace was almost empty on wednesday may be true after all ! Same situation where there were plenty of gals available ! Those i met sms my buddy & me to come over & support ! Think these days,if any BROs go to KTVs can be treated liked VVIPs !!!

=> Have not been to TAM for more than year too ! Didn't liked the pressure of "must book the gal" because in the past the gals had to run all over the building 'cause their target was to "butterfly" at least 4 - 5 rooms !

Too bad I hv never been to TAM n already its reputation as a Mecca for the prettiest PRC MMs is on the decline. I may hv missed the boat!

Since I neither entertain nor drink much, I go to KTVs for the sole purpose of getting connected w/ young n pretty gals. Once I get the ctc, I seldom return except to get new gals. After I get to know them a bit better, they actually much prefer that I spend money on them directly than going to meet them at KTVs, where only a fraction of the total expenditure goes to them. "太贵了, 不值得花这个钱," they will say. Even some singers share the same sentiments, haha.

Another strategy is to hv a beer w/ my sidekick in the outdoor bar (just outside the new food mall at PC), wait for the chio gals to show up, then approach them to get their ctc. Unfortunately, it's more difficult than I originally thought. Most of them would go straight to the lifts. But u get to watch as many as 250-300 gals between 4:30 PM n 6:00 PM.

Perhaps we should join force w/ bro andyk n others n make forays to TAM n other KTVs on my return, hehe.

TAM are normally patronised by people who entertain and claim the expenses from company, and also here the expenses are higher. With the current economic situation, TAM would definitely encounter lesser patrons.

For people who go on their own entertainment, they choose lesser expensive ktv or those small ktvs.

but quite number of customers.. may be is cheap...
