I have to agree with sam.jones.

All dathinman had to do was to point out the fact that one needs to search around the forums, instead of dishing out a sarcasm-reeked lines aimed at derogating the cognitive ability of thread-starter.

What transpired, to an outsider, would seem like a typical discrimination against/stereotyping of newbie members typical of thick-skulled senior members who did not earn their 'seniority' by substance (post quality?), but rather time spent in the forum.

Well, in another similar, hypothetical circumstance, a thick-skulled senior member could have given thread-starter the benefit of technical doubt that he/she isn't familiar with the ins and outs of forum usage. After all, not all members have spent long enough time in front of the computer getting used to forums like said thick-skulled member, no?
