The situation does not need to be "handled". You're much older with a stable career, and she is still schooling. Of course you'll be paying for dates by default. What exactly are you expecting?
Do you remember how poor you were in the uni days? Do you want her to treat you to McDonald's when you go out? LOL dude don't be a miser.
