Me: thanks, ok i drop you off to the MRT station ?

J: I buy you dinner , since happy hour was on you just now, but hawker centre ok ?

Me: put your things in my car, so you need not carry so many bags.

J: wait , I need to freshen up first. Can I used yr washroom.

Me: sure.

She took a long time.

J: ok I am ready .

Me: princess , I fell asleep and thg is morning already.

J: sorry, woman lah... Must touch up mah.

Her top button was unbutton. She reapplied the lip stick and add another coat of blusher to her face. The aroma of her perfume was different from what she had on earlier.

Me: that is a different scent you got there. Is very nice .

J: ohhhh... You notice. Thank you.

Me : u sure u want to go to hawker centre, many uncles will have a heart attack after looking at u.

J: what abt you "UNCLE" ?

Me : wahhhh... Now I downgrade to "uncle" category?

J: hahahah... You are different ... U are a " happening uncle"

We went to the Zhe char stall at tanglin halt hawker centre. It is two stall away from the fruit stall facing the playground. I like the stall simple and yet flavorful food.

I order a steam fish , vegetables and an omelette .

Me : do you want more food?

J: this is more than enough.

Me: ok let's eat.

After that I order desert , just a stone throw away.

Me: hot or cold desert, you choose one.... As I place the bowls on the table.

She took the cold desert.

Me : so I drop you off the at the MRT station?

J: " WHY DO YOU KEEP WANTING TO SENT ME BACK ?" " YOU DONT ENJOY MY COMPANY IS IT ? "

Never saw that coming I was stunt for a while.

Me: I was afraid that you maybe tired after along day at work.

J: " U MEAN YOU ARE TIRED !

Another blow.... Ouch !

Me : no I am not. I am on leave tomorrow so I can stay up late.

J: REALLY !!! So we can hang out late ?

Me : let's catch a movie.

J: sure.

Head straight to great world city.

Me : I drop u off here, you go get the tickets . I parked the car .

Just make it time, the movie started... We got corner seats and there want many ppl maybe due to the fact that the movie has been running for some time.

She started to rub her arms to keep warm.

Me: I go down to get your office coat for you.... I stood up.

J: no need, is ok.

She lifted the centre armrest backwards. Placing her head on my right shoulder and hug my arm for warm.

I was caught off guard .

But I let her be.

It wasn't long the zzz monster hit me. Watching the movie was just an excuse. I always used this trick to get some time away. Catching 40 winks in between .
