Just got back from a flight to Christchurch, and would like to share my trip with all Bros!

It all started out when I had to make a business trip to boring old New Zealand. Thought to myself, oh shit, what the hell am I going to do there for this weekend after my meeting...? The business side of things is only taking half a day, and I'm there for 3 days!

Well, I packed my bags, and went to take this boring flight to the boring country of New Zealand....where there is more sheeps than humans! After I sat down, I watched her as she moved about the aircraft, performing her duties. Another stewardess in blue came to me and offered me some newspapers. I was rather dissappointed, because I was hoping the stewardess in green would come to serve me. Just as I was thinking this, she appeared from behind with a stack of magazines and offered them to me! Nothing to do at the station at all." Wah lao! I thought that this was a great opportunity.....so I quickly said...."Well, if you are free, we could catch up when I finish my meeting, and maybe go sightseeing". She immediately gave me a shy smile once again, and said, "Sure"!

I have been lucky that all this while, no one came to the galley, and I told her I'll give her my number later. Told her to carry on with her meal, and then I returned to my seat.

In my heart, I thought....."fantastic, got chance liao"!

For the rest of the flight, I watched a movie, caught a cat nap, and before I knew it, the flight was almost landing. My thoughts drifted to the gorgeous stewardess once again. As though she was reading my mind, she appeared from behind me to collect my headset, and as I thanked her, she gave me the sweetest smile and asked, "Did you have a good rest?". I thanked her for asking, and as she was walking away, she whispered under her breath..."If I don't speak to you before we land, I'll text you tomorrow morning."!

With those last few words, she walked away from me to collect the headsets from the rest of the passengers, leaving my eyes glued to her body....a tight waist, with a well-rounded ass, which swayed from side to side as she walked down the aisle. In the eyes of many, if not most pple, SGPeans & foreigners, SIA is regarded as the National carrier. It is similar to SGPeans stationed or travelling overseas. They may not be gahmen pple, but watever they say or do, pple will say SGPean say tis, SGPean behave like tat, etc etc.

For me, my business bag was stolen overseas, inside contains, among other things, all my frequent flyer membership cards. These cards are the lowest priority of things I need 2 handle & replace. All the airlines of which I'm a FFP member, spoke to me v politely, tat they'll send me a replacement card free-of-charge within 2 weeks. No police report nor documentary proof of the theft / robbery required. In the event tat I'm flying wif them b4 I receive the new card, I juz need 2 quote my membership no, & I'll receive the same benefits / privilege service, they even apologised 4 the inconvenience of memorising the card no!!! When in the 1st place, it's supposed 2 be my fault 4 losing the card, 4 watever reasons.

Only SIA wanna charge me USD 5 or USD 25 (I cant remember) for a replacement card, even though I have a copy of police report. In my mind, I was tinking, how much does a card & postal fees cost, u wanna charge me tat amt, in USD some more? So I said never mind, 4get about the card, u can oso 4get about me flying wif SQ from now on!!! The response was totally cool & robotic, "is there anything else I can help?".

Nowdays, it depends on where I need 2 go, but I'm a VIP member wif KLM / Air France, NorthWest Airlines, Cathay Pacific, China Eastern Airlines, & of course, several other China's airlines.

For the ang moh airlines, yes, though many times & many of their stewardesses are rather old, but I'd say their F & B and service quality & attitude beats SIA hands down. I can also feel the strong competition among China's airlines, their service attitude & politeness, sweet smiles, etc etc.

Many SGPeans complain tat SQ crew give "privilege" or priority to ang moh passengers. They "no hew" SGPeans, oso look down on other nationals from less wealthy countries, etc. Regardless of whether it's a passenger on business or holiday, they shouldn't be discriminated. In fact, business passengers tend 2 have higher frequency of travel, deeper pockets! Well, if SIA is still "in celebration mood" of their victory as world No 1 airline, then by all means, they can continue 2 live in complacency, ignoring the strong competition from everywhere, the victory will soon become "once upon a time".

Recently, I was told by an SQ pilot, tat several functions / depts of SIA are outsourced, possibily including the FFP. Well, I dun care, I'm a paying passenger, I dun care about their operations or problems. If other airlines are treating me better, than I'll travel with other airlines.

For the brudder tat said SGPean customers / passengers are demanding & difficult 2 please, I do not disagree. But then, in the service industry, it's part & parcel 2 encounter such customers, regardless of nationality. Aren't these service providers trained? If u kena those PRC Chinese who are arrogant & not-so-polite, how? Not all PRC Chinese are like tat, but, I believe many who encountered those loud, boarish, abusive, etc etc, u know those tat I'm referring to.

For the rest of my flight, I didn't get a chance to speak to her after she collected the headsets.
