If they have a choice, you think they want to work as such? Believe me, there are not enough jobs to go around. And if there are, the jobs are very low paying.

I will try to rephrase what I wished to say with different words.

It is not common, based on my experience, that girls are forced to prostitution even in Batam by gangsters or inhuman relatives who "sell" them to other gangsters. It happens, but it's not the norm.

It is certainly true, instead, that most girls are forced to prostitution by circumstances and financial needs, to support their families for example. They would not do that, if there was abundance of good job decently paid.

And of course, this is on top of the vast humanity of girls who just wish to collect money in an easier way, not to survive.
