As we walked to the coffee shop, he was sitting in a corner, wearing a surgical mask, trying to protect himself from the haze. But then, he took out a cigarette to smoke when he saw us.

I sat opposite him.

Vic: hello, we meet again.

He smiled.

Me: lets talk.
Vic: i already told kevin. He need to pay up.
Me: its 70k. He need some time.
Vic: 70k? Haha.... more like 80k

I looked at kevin. He was looking on the floor.

Me: why 80k?
Vic : interest. Haha....
Me: also cant be increase by so much.
Vic: i am running a business.
Me: he is your friend.
Vic: so?

He sneer at me.

Vic: friend borrow money no need pay?
Me: give him some time.
Vic: i need to survive also right? I also got bills to pay.

He turned at look at gwen, who was sitting on his right. She was wearing a tshirt and shorts. He stared at her c cups, leering at those peaks. She saw him doing that and held her bag up, covering her chest. He lean back on the seat and stared at her slender legs.

Me: hey... look here...

He laughed.

Vic: Either he pay up fully or pay the weekly payments.
Me: its not that he is not paying. Give him some time.

He stopped laughing and stared into my eyes.

Vic: i already gave him time. If he dont pay up, then my guys will do their job.
Me: give me 4 weeks.
Vic: what 4 weeks? You think i charity?

He laughed again as if i am telling uim a joke.

Vic: tell you what.

He put a hand on gwen's shoulder.

Vic: if she spend 1 night with me, i'll give him 2 months... but he pay 80k by then... haha....

Kevin did not react. Gwen push his hands off.

Me: no.
Vic: then pay me fill 80k this week or interest 2k.

He narrowed his eyes.

Vic: unless you decide to take over the loan from him.
Kevin: no.

He smiled again. I felt like punching him.

Vic: or you let your wife, eva, spend the night with me. I give you 4 months for 80k.... haha....

He raised his hands and silenced me before i can reply.

Vic: or both your wives for 2 nights together... i give you 4 months to pay 40k.... haha.... good deal for you. Fucking big discount. Outside where can you find 40k for 2 girls. I can get for 500 if i want easily.... haha...
Me: fuck you.

He did not stop smiling and got up. He turned to kevin.

Vic: kevin, as a friend, i give you one more week. After that my guys will do the standard. Friend also no give face... but if you like my offer, let me know.... haha...

He reached out and touched gwen's hair.

Vic: gwen, agree to my suggestion. You can help your husband and i can give you a good time.... haha..

She retracted from him in disgust.

Vic: kevin next week.

He left and the 3 of us sat there in silence.

I text eva and she wanted to meet us immeidately as she understands the gravity of the situation even though it is still office hours

We picked her at her office and made our way to east coast. We selected a spot and seated ourselves.

Me: dear how much do you have in your account?
Eva: not much left. Everything went into our house. Maybe 5k

I had about 3k

Me: you 2?
Gwen: i have about 5k
Kevin: i got nothing. Maybe a few hundreds.

He sounded dejected.

Kevin: i dont know what to do.
Me: we'll think of something. Dont worry.

We only had 13k. Even if kevin took a loan for his renovation, it would be about 15k based on his pay. Thats only 28k. And i already took a reno loan with eva. The banks will not entertain us.

Lets say if we used dad's money of the 40k remaining for the renovation, it would be 68k. Surely i could find a 2k easily.

I told them my plans.

Kevin spoke very softly. It was barely audible.

Kevin: i loss 30k. Only remain 10k.
Me: what?! Why?
Kevin: i thought i could win back some. But i lost again.
Me: kevin fuck, you should stop gambling.
Kevin: sorry...

We have only 38k. Even if we skip the interest, we still need to cough up with another 32k.

Considering all aspects of stretching our credit cards, even we know of the high interest rates, we are still short of 15k.

But then my foster parents house cannot remained uncompleted from the renovation as well.

Seemed like we are stuck.

Me: i think we should go to the police.

I repeated again.

Kevin: we cant.
Me: then maybe you borrow from pa and ma.
Kevin: no. I dont want them to know.
Me: then how? We dont have enough. And the house still need to complete the reno.

He looked at gwen and then eva.

Kevin: he is giving me a big discount for both of you. Just for 2 days. Can?
Me: kevin what the fuck are you talking about?! This is my wife and yours!

I heard a soft voice

Gwen: i am ok to help.

TS, I love your stories. And frankly, it is the second best here compared to ILOCK's.

I think you have been around the forum long enough to know that there are idiots around here that leech everything they can and claim it belongs to them. I have shared some photos before and guess what it is "everyone's" very soon.

Get used to it is what i can tell you. Not worth getting angry or upset over these morons who think them can leech your stories and claim it is theirs to get some points that are in fact worth nothing.

Hope to see you continue writing here. It will be a waste to lose a talent.
