I was encouraged by two other samsters to start this thread,
coz we are invited to the opening of this rest cum tea house,
thats what they call themselves. The environment is simply furnished,
but the WLS told us, the place would be gradually renovated to
a chinese tea house feel. But the rooms for resting are spacious,
with ample cool air and privacy.The one best attraction is all the
WLS we saw are dressed in QI PAO, the chinese Cheong Sam.
Well the dress style sounds like a slogan to me....

Went there after reading the description and thinking that I will find a chinese tea house type of decor. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the decor (or lack of any decor). It looked like any other normal TN.

I was ushered into one of the rooms. Although the room was very big by TN standards, it was bare except for the usual massage bed. What I noticed was that the place smells bad. The smell reminds me of those old 1-room rental flats in Toa Payoh occupied by mainly by old folks. The massage bed also has that rather unpleasant smell, especially when I put my face into the hole.

I was assigned Yan Zhi. I must say that her massage and customer-service standard was good. Even though the massage was good, I was not able to enjoy it as much as I was having difficulty breathing due to the unpleasant odour.

After a while, she might have sensed my discomfort and offered me a pillow to place under my face (I was lying face down at that point in time). I am not sure if that helped or made matters worse as the pillow smelt just as bad.

When I finished, I saw three other WLs outside. OMG I felt like I was at the back lane of Deskar Road! Looks-wise, they really CMI IMHO. Only Yan Zhi was in the cheong sam. The other three were in something that tried to resemble lingerie but looked more like pyjamas. The three WLs sitting outside looked really bored and listless. One of them was attacking her bowl of food (noodles I think) like it was her first meal in days.

Overall, notwithstanding Yan Zhi's good customer-service standard, I frankly doubt I will ever return to this place. Much better places elsewhere to spend my money.

I always like to venture out of my eastern turf once in a while to try something different.Thats why after reading the 3 FRs here; decided to venture down.

Like what slider72 said is truth the decor is like any other tn with spacious rms, except for a shelf displaying chinese tea sets and cups. I was however told they are converting it into a teahouse with more reno coming up, when I asked the WLs there. All 3 are dressed in their classic chinese Qi Pao when I was there:

Hai Lun in flowery purple roses white satin,
Ye Zhi in a red, black prints on white satin,
Ting Ting in a light blue roses on white satin.

Ha ha ha I became their health inspector when I commented on the smell in the shop( actually I did not smell it, but wanting to probe further into the truth of the matter) I was told and shown the pillows, that they are cleaned, in fact white without stains under the white light in the hall.

They however did sort of complained having to do their own luandry and without proper drying places inside, thus breeding the unhealthy smell days ago. Hence, to the BOSS if you are reading this or someone pass this message to him/her.Get the luandry contracted out. It does not cost much.

FR on Ting Ting:

Most attractive features: 36D cups, CFM face, curly long hair, slim waist.
